Back on June 15, Sting’s Back To Bass Tour pulled into Atlantic City, New Jersey for a show at the Borgata Events Center. Seven songs into Sting’s set, the former Police front man welcomed former Simon & Garfunkel front man Paul Simon to guest on a pair of tunes. Both Sting and Simon know the hefty expectations that come with starting a solo career on the heels of an extremely successful partnership. The pair traded off songs from each other’s vast catalogs.

First, Paul led Sting and his band through The Boxer, before Sting and Simon shared the stage for Fields Of Gold. So far video of The Boxer has surfaced, though we await a clip of Fields Of Gold. Take a look…

I really don’t like Simon’s music/voice. I thought Art had the bulk of the talent. And Sting was never as good as when he had the other two with him.
I’m diggin’ this, but … talk about an Odd Couple. I smell sitcoooooooom!
good lida daidaihuaes for everybody up to now, retain it up
This pairing seemed initially unlikely yet I’m enjoying how their voices merge. Sting is so versatile, that he falls into Simon’s ballads effortlessly. I always thought Simon and Garfinkel was too melancholy to listen to for very long. I’m counting on Sting to enliven the performance with his stellar energy.
