I know we missed our usually Monday morning link dump, so don’t hold it against us that Hors D’Oeuvres are a day late – but everyone loves leftovers though right? So let’s kick the week off and even we’ll throw in few extra stories…
- The Boss joined Mike Ness on stage at the Stone Pony
- Beck has posted the first song from his new album
- The latest Zep rumor: 4 nights at the Rogers Centre in August
- Rocklahoma adds a fifth day of hair metal bands mayhem
- RD tips us off to Carlos Santana/Miles Davis art exhibit in San Fran
- My latest obsession – Bon Iver performs Skinny Love on Jools Holland
- The first David Byrne/Brian Eno tour date is revealed
- Neddy is glad to see the Jammys come to an end
- Happy belated 63rd birthday to Pete Townshend
- Coachella’s attendance was down by 30,000 people, while Stagecoach doubled its audience from last year
Finally, around this time last year we were wondering about the whereabouts of one Michael Gordon. Well after ol’ Gordo’s name started to pop up on several festie lineups we started to wonder about just what Catcus has up his sleeve when he hits the stage this summer. Turns out the former Phish bass player has a new album that will hit stores on August 5th called The Green Sparrow. Former bandmates Trey Anastasio and Page McConnell make guest spots.

David Byrne’s set at ACL Fest is listed as:
Songs of David Byrne and Brian Eno
(More Songs about Buildings and Food, Fear of Music, Remain in Light, My Life in the Bush of Ghosts)
Thanks for pointing that out!
when did Hidden Track start reposting what the BV posts for Jam Band kids who think they are hip because they heard of Bon Iver or whatever. Where’s Ace and Scotty?
Are we not allowed to like Bon Iver over here? We like to introduce great music to our readers.
Wow, can’t believe a simple link to a band SD liked got that response. I had never heard Bon Iver’s music, but that clip is pretty good!!!
Scotty I forgot to mention that I’m on a secret mission from P4K to infiltrate HT when you brought me on board.
