Phish’s first album in five years, Joy, was set for release on July 28th but the band pushed out that date without really telling anybody. Of course if you read You Enjoy Myblog you already knew it had been delayed. Today, the band updated Dry Goods with a page that will soon allow fans to preorder the album that includes our first look at the album art…
We still don’t have a definitive release date but we’d expect an announcement soon. In other Phish-related news, the Palm Desert Hampton Inn right outside of Indio, CA started booking Phish “Fall Festival” packages this morning before pulling them off their website. With each passing day more and more signs are pointing to the Polo Fields in Indio as the site of the Phish Halloween Festival on October 30 – November 1.

Nice! Not what I expected at all.
That is some cool cover art. I heard the earliest the album could be out is August 25th.
