SONG PREMIERE: Daniel Daniel Shares “Money, Money, Money” from Debut Full Length ‘The Lonesome Hollow’

On his highly anticipated debut full length The Lonesome Hollow (out 5/4/18), Nashville transplant, Daniel Daniel has teamed up with nine-time Grammy award winner, Mike Piersante (Adele, The Civil Wars, T-Bone Burnett, Elton John, and O Brother Where Art Thou), producer Matt Williams, and healthy stock of acclaimed musicians consisting of drummer legend Jay Bellerose, bassist Jen Condos, David Piltch, and pedal steel players Eric Heywood and Russ Pahl. Daniel has crafted a beautiful set of songs that showcase his versatile and warm vocals, memorable melodies, and a simplistic approach to arrangements. Piersante himself has a stellar resume including nine Grammy Awards from thirteen nominations, most notably an Album of the Year Grammy in 2016 for his efforts on Adele’s 25.

Glide is proud to premiere “Money, Money, Money” (below)  off The Lonesome Hollow, a galloping modern western with polished reflection and sly, soulful vocals. Daniel Daniel delivers gospel-tinged Americana with a punch of heartfelt folk, making for a refreshing voice in an otherwise crowded Nashville scene.

“Money, Money, Money was written out in in the Virginia countryside at sunset as I was overlooking million dollar mansions,” says Daniel. “I started to contemplate the fleeting nature of wealth and the juxtaposition of myself humbly sitting on the other side.”
