LISTEN: Airpark (Feat. Valley Queen) Strum Up Acoustic Wonders On “Quiet Type”

Airpark is a Nashville-based duo – made up of brothers Ben Ford and Michael Ford, Jr. People often think that they are twins, but they’re not; however, the archetypal mystic sibling connection is very much there.

Check out the raw and commanding new single “Quiet Type”(below) from brother duo Airpark. Joined on the song by Natalie Carol AKA Valley Queen, “Quiet Type” moves on an acoustic guitar heartbeat as vocal harmonies attached at the hip swirl and create a visceral landscape. Warmly inventive slide guitar in the backdrop molds a city-like feel and a clear portrayal of our disconnected protagonist. ”

“Despite what the lyrics may suggest, this song was actually written pre-pandemic. The song came together relatively quickly while in Los Angeles with Natalie Carol (Valley Queen) in the Fall of 2019. It’s the 2nd single off our forthcoming EP Quiet Type: an Intimate Collection of New & Old which also features performances from Erin Rae, Byron House (Robert Plant’s Band of Joy) and Spencer Cullum,” says the duo.
