Feist Announces ‘Multitudes’ Shows in Denver, LA, Seattle, Stanford- Intimate Performance Of New Songs

In an unconventional production, Feist invites the audience to reclaim the stage with Multitudes; an intimate performance of new songs. Following its development in Hamburg and subsequent tour in North America in 2021, Multitudes makes its United States premiere this April & May with limited capacity performances in Denver, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Stanford. Tickets for Multitudes will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 4th at 10am local time and can be purchased here. See full list of tour dates below.

The production, developed by Feist with legendary designer Rob Sinclair (David Byrne’s American Utopia, Peter Gabriel, Tame Impala) is an in-the-round performance, with fully immersive surround sound where Feist will be closer than ever to her audience. The circle represents time, life and death, the sun and moon, the earth itself and us all within it.  The circle provides a gentle hospitality for this shared experience.

Conceived during and in response to the pandemic, when stages had to remain empty and communal joy was interrupted, Multitudes offers a joint and safe re-entry to the rarified air of performance; it is both an end and a beginning.

Featuring all new music written and performed by Feist and accompanied by Todd Dahlhoff and Amir Yaghmai, the Canadian artist creates an intimate, radically communal, and topsy-turvy production that muddies the roles between audience and performer, observer and its subject. We are welcomed to sit back and watch, or raise our voices in collective anonymity. Anything goes.
