Pynch has been steadily on the radar a slew of singles off of their forthcoming debut album, and with their latest “Tin Foil” they’re sure to garner even more attention with a quintessentially British approach to songwriting and old-school production style. They combine all the steady bumping live energy of The Strokes with a contemporary usage of synths and the vocal layering of a simplistic indie Brian Willson. The blend of sounds leaves it compatible anywhere from a SoCal surf shack to a dark London Dive. “Tin Foil” leaves no doubt that Pynch’s debut “Howling at a Concrete Moon” will deliver a colorful and captivating sonic palette.
