The first thing that you notice about Josh T. Pearson is that he’s got a glorious beard that would make the guys in ZZ Top proud. With his debut album, Last Of The Country Gentlemen, the Texas-born singer-songwriter, who now calls Germany home, is laying claim to the title of tragic figure amongst the beard rock movement. The seven-tune record, which has four songs that clock in at over ten minutes, features a powerful combination of emotionally-wrought lyrics, sparse arrangements and haunting vocals.
