Phish front man Trey Anastasio’s first foray into the world of Broadway takes a major step on April 27, when Hands on a Hardbody, a musical he wrote with Amanda Green and Doug Wright debuts at the La Jolla Playhouse in La Jolla, California.

Hands on a Hardbody, which is based on a 1997 documentary of the same name, will run through June 10. Tickets for the run are currently available for subscribers, who will also get ducats to two other productions at the venue. Phish has previously performed both My Problem Right There and Burn That Bridge, which according to banter from Trey at Terminal 5 in February are in Hands On A Hardbody.

Trey doing what he loves! Makin music! I wish them all the luck in the world. Must be nice to have that much talent to have Bands like Phish, TAB, orchestras, and now this.
