As we reported, Phish front man Trey Anastasio threw out the ceremonial first pitch at last night’s Padres/Rockies game in San Diego. Big Red was representing his new musical, Hands On A Hardbody, as members of the cast performed the National Anthem at Petco Park.

For some reason the “rotation jam” reference really made me crack.
Thanks for posting, Scotty! Of course, Dave Vann I am not. But special thanks to the San Diego Padre ushers for letting me down to the dugout. Not captured on film is my boyish excitement once acknowledged by Trey. It was truly a thrill.
