This is the first of two recordings from last week captured during Highline Ballroom’s “piano series”. This is a great take on the, oh yeah, Neil Sedaka song. Extra props to taper Scott Bernstein (note: different than our editor Scott Bernstein, they get that lot) for taking the time to even-out the levels of the applause – a problem you get on many jazz recordings when songs end.
