Fried Chicken, Egg Shooters, Lettuce and a Side of Maceo: Soul to Soul II

Among other songs played at least in snippets while Maceo was onstage were The Chicken, Pass The Peas and Hey Pocky Way. But the true highlight of the set was when Maceo led the band through his own song Shake Everything You’ve Got.

As always, the Lettuce Horns were amzing and the interplay of Eric Krasno & Adam Smirnoff on guitars was stellar. Towards the end of the set, Nigel Hall came front and center for some interplay with Maceo. And after Lettuce’s original, Sam Huff’s Flying Rage Machine, the set was over. The final jam of the night saw Guitarist Will Bernard sit in for the encore of Makin’ My Way Back Home with Nigel on vocals while Krasno joined in as a back-up singer.

Money was raised for Haiti, stomachs were full from good eats, people were exhausted from six hours of dancing and smiles were on all the glazed faces as we headed back out into the night.
