Jam Cruise 9 Lineup and Ports Announced

During the last full day of Jam Cruise 8 – January 8 – conversations on the MSC Poesia started to include talk of next year as Jam Cruise vets and newbs each voiced their opinion on who should be on the boat for Jam Cruise 9. Today, we’ve finally got our answer as to what acts will be on JC9 as well as which boat and which ports will be on the itinerary.

Jam Cruise 9 will once again be held on the MSC Poesia. The boat sets sail from Fort Lauderdale on January 4th with stops at  Roatan, Honduras & Costa Maya, Mexico. Headlining this year’s cruise will be original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir – with his Scaring The Children band, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart – with their Rhythm Devils band. Jam Cruise faves Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Galactic and the Greyboy Allstars are also set to return on JC9. HT faves God Street Wine will make their first trip on Jam Cruise come January along with Stockholm Syndrome, Big Gigantic and the Jimi Hendrix tribute act Some Cat From Japan.

    awesometown should be very excited of this addition.

    i believe i officially need to give up my first born now but its well worth it to see GSW play another 2 sets.

    is there any possibility to see them announced as Vibes Friday night headliner? i’d give up my second born for that. where do i sign up?
