Earlier this month we told you that Paul McCartney announced the framework of a massive world tour dubbed “Out There!” While Macca didn’t reveal many dates, he did mention he would “travel the world throughout the year.” The legendary performer also said the tour would hit many cities he’s never played before. Paul’s headlining set at Bonnaroo is the only U.S. date announced thus far, but recently the Boston Globe confirmed that McCartney is bringing his band back to Boston.
Paul McCartney will return to Boston’s iconic Fenway Park on Tuesday, July 9th. McCartney made his Fenway debut in 2009, when he played two shows at the home of the Red Sox. An official announcement is forthcoming and will include ticketing details. It’s nice to know the Boston faithful are guaranteed at least one night that will be full of big hits at Fenway this summer.
