One year ago today (10/28/14), The Allman Brothers Band played its final show last night, delivering a lengthy triple-set concert at New York’s Beacon Theatre. During the show Derek Trucks periodically performed with Duane’s 1957 Goldtop Les Paul and the show culminated with ‘Trouble No More’ — the first song ever performed by the original Allmans lineup. The final notes rang out in the early morning hours of Oct. 29, the day Duane Allman died in 1971.
