Ten years ago today (5/3/11), Robin Pecknold made it two for two with the release of Fleet Foxes’ stellar second lp Helplessness Blues, which featured a certain J. Tillman on drums. Virtually as impenetrable as it is alluring, the echoey vibe and translucent musicianship upped the ante some following Fleet Foxes’ 2008 eponymous debut studio album.
