Jimmy Page Helps Convict Music Pirate

A man who sold pirate copies of Led Zeppelin albums was sent to jail for 20 months today (August 30), after Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page had given evidence against him.

Robert Langley, 56, was originally arrested in 2005 after selling pirated Led Zeppelin material at a CD fair in Glasgow.

During the case Page was called to give evidence against him, causing Langley to change his plea to guilty.

As well as his prison sentence, Langley faces a hearing in which the crown will attempt to strip him of £250,000-worth of assets.
