Video: Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside – Party Kids

Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside isn’t the typical band that we’ve come to identify with the Pacific Northwest town of Portland, Oregon over the last half-a-dozen or so years. They don’t wear flannel or sing in lush group harmonies or play oddball acoustic instruments. Instead, the group plays a bawdy brand of rock that is heavily influenced by jazz standards, vintage blues and 1950’s rockabilly, with a front woman who sounds as if she stepped straight out of that golden era of rock n’ roll. On February 19, Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside will release their third studio effort Untamed Beast via Partisan Records and have dropped the music video for the record’s lead single Party Kids.

Shot in their hometown at the Landmark Saloon, the clip features Ford as a bartender, who has to deal with some unruly patrons by using some brute force. Let’s check it out…
