What makes the Unknown Mortal Orchestra so enjoyable to listen to is their ability to mix seemingly divergent styles together to arrive at a heady blend of hazy psychedelic-soul music, that’s perfect for late-night listens and lazy Sunday mornings. Last Tuesday, the Portland, Oregon-based trio released their sophomore album, simply-titled II, via Jagjaguwar. UMO also dropped the music video for the record’s lead single – So Good At Being In Trouble.
The clip features Christopher Mintz-Plasse (aka McLovin) trying to rescue his girlfriend from a hippie cult, who wouldn’t seem too out of place on Shakedown Street. Let’s check it out…
