Wilco will explore the "dusty corners" of its back catalog during a five-night run at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre in February. Shows are set for Feb. 15-16 and 18-20 and will feature what the band’s spokesperson describes as a "distinct, one-of-a-kind set list each night."
"Over the five nights, we will attempt the ‘complete Wilco’ and try to clear out the dusty corners of the catalog that we haven’t attended to in a while," frontman Jeff Tweedy says.
"I would hate to discredit any of the earlier lineups, because that had a thing that made it special too," drummer Glenn Kotche told Billboard earlier this year. "But I do love the versatility of this lineup. Everyone has their own sound and personality."
The Chicago stand will serve as the kickoff for a short North American tour, which runs through March 9 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Meanwhile, Wilco’s "Sky Blue Sky" was nominated for a best rock album Grammy last week. Previously, the band’s "A Ghost Is Born" won best alternative rock album and best recording package at the 2004 ceremony.
