Sister Sparrow And The Dirty Birds Better Not Be Pitch-y Dawg – American Idol’s Randy Jackson To Produce New EP

HT faves Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds continue to build their audience through constant gigging and by continuing to debut impressive new material and killer covers. We’re excited for the Brooklyn-based band’s new EP and you’ll probably recognize the name of the person they’ve signed on to produce the four-track effort. That’s right dawg, American Idol judge Randy Jackson will produce the EP titled Fight which is due for a Fall ’13 release.

Fight’s first single, The Long Way, is expected this July. The band entered the studio with Jackson back in March and recorded The Long Way in addition to Fight, Boogie Man and Crawdaddies. Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds have a busy summer of headlining gigs and festival appearances set.
