The New York City based jam-rockers U-Melt have announced an extensive tour ranging from the east coast to the mountain west and back again. The four-piece will be performing in new and un-touched markets as they spread their sonic assault beyond their northeast roots.
Working around a never-ending tour schedule, U-Melt has built a reputation as one of the hardest working bands in the business — and with a spectacular live show to boot this tour is bound to make the nation take notice. Taking the stage with a calculated and precise rhythm section, coupled with mind-bending guitars and keyboards, U-Melt is capable of driving jams to the end of the earth and back. Never a band to rest on its laurels, U-Melt musically elevates the bar each and every night.
The winter tour will begin with a trek through the Midwest, featuring stops in Madison, Minneapolis, and Chicago before a weeklong stint in the Rocky Mountain state. U-Melt’s Colorado debut boasts seven straight nights of music throughout the mountain region including their first Boulder performance at the legendary Fox Theater.
As the band heads home they will make a few stops back through the mid-west and southeast before performing their 500th show at the Iron Horse Music Hall. Following the show, the band will return to the road for a few dates in the northeast before concluding the tour at the Revolution Hall in Troy, NY.
Also in the works is a preliminary schedule for U-Melt’s March Madness 2008 Tour, which will include a two-night hometown stand at the brand new Sullivan Hall in New York. The back-to-back March 28th and 29th shows will be a first for the band in their hometown for 2008. In addition, a four-week Thursday residency at Boston’s Paradise Lounge from March 13th to April 3rd is on the agenda. The March Madness tour will also feature a return to the Jersey Shore for Phanphest’s Cabin Fever Phest on Friday March 14th.
