Televised Tune: Willie Nelson & Friends On Crossroads

Willie Nelson stars in the latest episode of CMT’s Crossroads, which debuts Sunday at 9PM ET/PT. The episode pulls from the country outlaw’s April concert at Jack White’s Third Man Records, where he was joined by Sheryl Crow, Jamey Johnson, Norah Jones, Ashley Monroe, Leon Russell and Neil Young.

Also of note, AXS TV premieres a live Wilco special that appears to be from the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot era. The description reads, “Wilco takes the stage with their blend of idiosyncratic pop sounds from their album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Highlights include “War on War” and “Jesus, etc”. The critically acclaimed group reveals not only inimitable musicianship, but also a wide range of music, with hints of country, rock, punk and, perhaps most of all, experimentalism.”
