Prog-Horror Icons Goblin to Release New ‘Tour EP’

Goblin

Italian prog-rock legends Goblin, best known for their horror film scores (including George A. Romero’s classic Dawn of the Dead), will release Tour EP on October 1st. Available on the band’s current world tour, it features re-recordings of four classic tracks.

The EP will be available on “180 gram red vinyl cut at 45 rpm, with exclusive cover art by legendary artist Graham Humphreys (Nightmare on Elm Street, Evil Dead, Basket Case, etc).” It will be released in stores on October 15th via British label Death Waltz.

Goblin are also revered for scoring the films of Italian horror icon Dario Argento, including Suspiria and Deep Red (with the Profondo Rosso soundtrack). They’re also remembered within the prog community for 1976’s Roller, one of their rare non-soundtrack.
