Love As Laughter Going ‘Holy’

Glacial Pace Recordings is pleased to announce the release of Holy, the new album by Love As Laughter. Holy, the band’s fifth album, was recorded during the second half of 2007 in-between tours with Modest Mouse and Band Of Horses and was produced by Joe Blaney at his NYC studio; Joe Music. Blaney is a renowned producer and engineer most known for his groundbreaking work on the Clash’s Combat Rock.

Inspired by the sound and feel of the band’s favorite albums from the 70s, the album features the holy mother load of rad guest musicians including: Robbie Lee (keys, woodwinds, horns, guitar), TK Webb (guitar and lap steel), Robin Peringer (guitar – Former Band of Horses, Modest Mouse), Tommy Mandel (piano – played with Bryan Adams, Ian Hunter, the Clash, Dire Straights), Isaac Brock (guitar), Yasuaki "Yas" Sakai (back up vocals – from Japanese band The Moools) and many more from Love As Laughter’s (LAL) extended musical family.
