White Denim have based their career on being unclassifiable — their blend of psychedelia, blues-rock, and prog is totally unlike any other band currently making music.
It makes sense that White Denim are basically musical BFFs with Wilco, another band that specializes in genre-bending. Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy was so impressed by the unique style of their 2011 album, D (and their captivating performance at the Sasquatch Festival) that he’s basically taken White Denim under his wing, even co-producing their sixth album, Corsicana Lemonade (which was released on October 29th).
