With music by night and conferences by day, along with showcases from Movement, Warp, and Fool’s Gold (among others); Moogfest 2014 boasts five full days of synthesized bliss in the late April enclave of Asheville, North Carolina. This year’s list of performers is top notch where Riff Raff, Q-Tip, Escort, Darkstar, El-P, Com Truise, Wolf Eyes and YACHT lay up against a list of heavy hitting headliners.
The featured headliners include Flying Lotus, Zed’s Dead, Moderat, Keith Emerson, Dillon Francis, M.I.A., Pet Shop Boys, Kraftwerk in 3D, in addition Nile Rodgers (plus Chic) and Giorgio “Over the Top” Moroder. Moogfest, the “synthesis of technology, art, and music,” promises to be the destination festival of the spring.
