American alternative rock giants Rage Against The Machine, Metallica and the Killers are the headliners for this summer’s Reading and Leeds Festivals.
The bill for the three-day event alternates between the two U.K. sites from Aug. 22-24. Undercards on the main stage include Queens Of The Stone Age, Bloc Party, Tenacious D, the Raconteurs, the Fratellis and Slipknot.
It’s the first time in a decade that the dual event won’t carry a sponsor’s name in its title. British beer brand Carling and organizer Festival Republic last November called time on a nine-year branding partnership for the annual festivals, which traditionally takes place over the August Bank Holiday.
