Bon Iver has added a slew of tour dates this summer, including headlining shows with A.A. Bondy and Bowerbirds and a handful of nights opening for Wilco. Justin Vernon, the primary force behind Bon Iver, has garnered an overwhelming amount of critical praise since the February release of his debut album, For Emma, Forever Ago. The New York Times called it "irresistible" and Pitchfork stamped its early review of the album with a Recommended tag. Other notches in his belt include an appearance on Later with Jools Holland, the track "Wolves (Part 1 and 2)" being featured on Grey’s Anatomy, and too many "Up and Coming" lists to count. Live, Vernon is a force to be seen, and it has been said the songs from For Emma "take on a new life" in the live setting.
