Girl Talk Plans Fall Tour

Gregg Gillis, better known to fans as mix-master extraordinaire Girl Talk, is headed for a club, theatre or festival near you with laptop in hand.
Gillis has added a slew of dates to the North American tour in support of his latest creation, Feed The Animals, which features a number of festival appearances, including Lollapallooza, All Points West and the Capitol Hill Block Party.
The fall run kicks off October 9 at Philadelphia’s Starlight Ballroom and continues through mid-November, with stops including Sonar in Baltimore (October 11), Variety Playhouse in Atlanta (October 16), Emo’s in Austin (October 20), the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles (October 24-25), the Ogden Theatre in Denver (October 31), Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee (November 4), Bogart’s in Cincinnati (November 9) and Club Soda in Montreal (November 13).
Joining Gillis on the road for his latest sweat-soaked trek are lo-fi rockers
The Death Set, "electro-rap weirdo" CX Kidtronik, his Pittsburgh homeboys Grand Buffet and Hearts of Darknesses, the solo project of electronic music producer Frank Mussara.

Gillis is offering a "pay what you want plan" for Feed the Animals, now available for download at
IllegalArt.net.
Any price grants the download of the entire album as high-quality 320kbps mp3s; $5 or more adds the options of FLAC files and a one-file seamless mix of the album and $10 or more includes all of the above, plus a packaged CD when it becomes available in September.
