Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers announce a Fall headlining tour of North America as they ready new album – American Standard – due out early 2009. They are dubbing their upcoming tour “Celebrating Five Years,” marking their fifth year together as a band. The three-month Fall tour is a return to the band’s road dog roots and follows a summer of marquee festival appearances alongside Tom Petty, O.A.R, Citizen Cope, and more as well as two notable Spring tours; a full US trek with Hanson and a Canadian jaunt with the legendary George Thorogood & the Destroyers.
For the Fall headlining tour, Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers will be hitting cities from coast to coast in the United States and Canada, ending with a two-night stand at the renowned Bowery Ballroom in New York City on November 28th and 29th. Supporting the run will be the Gabe Dixon Band (September 10th – September 14th), Erin Mckeown (September 17th – September 26th), Serena Ryder (October 16th – October 31st), and Pat McGee (September 30th – October 8th and November 1st – November 29th)
