Nate Wilson Group’s debut album “Unbound” will be made available in its entirety for free digital download during the four weeks leading up to their official CD release run in October. Starting on September 15th, fans will be able to download the album from the music section of the band’s website, www.natewilsongroup.net
Wilson, who has appeared as a guest with a wide variety of national acts from Martin Sexton to moe., is most familiar to music fans as the keyboardist/songwriter and co-founder of both Percy Hill and Assembly of Dust. Wilson’s songwriting credits include several top 30 AAA radio hits, as well as two Jammy nominations for song of the year. Percy Hill’s album “Color in Bloom,” which heavily featured songs written by Wilson, was awarded the 2000 Jammy for studio album of the year.
The Nate Wilson Group, which also features Assembly of Dust Guitarist and Percy Hill collaborator Adam Terrell, was formed in 2006, and represents Wilson’s first true effort as a bandleader and frontman. The nine songs that make up “Unbound” were recorded in New Hampshire at Waterway Studios, with the help of long time friend and co-producer Andrew Gallagher.
