Austin Psych Fest presents LEVITATION announced today the lineup for the recently renamed festival coming May 8-10, 2015, to Carson Creek Ranch in Austin, Texas. Camping passes, deluxe passes, and camping rentals are available today along with RV/vehicle camping information. Weekend passes are also out now at www.austinpsychfest.com.
The lineup for the 8th annual festival include The Flaming Lips and ustralian psych rockers Tame Impala, who rose to wide acclaim with their debut album, Innerspeaker, and 2012 follow-up, Lonerism. A highly anticipated third LP is in the works. The Jesus and Mary Chain will be performing the entirety of their 1985 debut studio album, Psychocandy, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the influential album. Also taking the stage during the festival are Spiritualized, Primal Scream, The Black Angels, Thee Oh Sees, Mac Demarco, and many more. Additional artists will be announced as the festival approaches.
This year is an important one in the evolution of this festival that has grown tremendously since its foundation in 2008 to become a highly praised and beloved annual music event celebrating psychedelic rock heritage. The 2015 festival is taking on a new name, Levitation, as they welcome new partners, Transmission Events. Transmission, the force behind Fun Fun Fun Fest and hundreds of shows annually at venues throughout Austin and beyond, have been loyal supporters of the festival for years and are excited to join the team to bring resources and experience that will help Levitation continue to grow and provide elevated experiences for bands and fans alike.

Weekend passes, which grant access to all three days of music, are on sale now for $165. Camping passes are only available for weekend pass holders and are $75 each.
