Karl Denson is back on the road with his band Tiny Universe following filling playing gigs with the Rolling Stones (falling in for the departed Bobby Keys). He started his North American tour with the first of a 3-day run at the Brooklyn Bowl, Brooklyn, NY with special guests Roosevelt Collier (The Lee Boys) and Robert Randolph, that included a Run DMC tribute set with hip-hop group Vocab Kompany. Friday’s show (2/6) is billed as a Bob Marley birthday bash and Saturday’s set will feature special guest, and fellow Rolling Stones touring member Chuck Leavell. Photos by Vikas Nambiar
