Avengers Set To Assemble On Jimmy Kimmel Live

We’re less than a month away from Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and the hype-machine has shifted into overdrive. It seems as though we can’t go a week without a new featurette or new TV spot to stir the depths of our excitement in preparation for the next big movement in the increasingly growing Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It’s with this in mind that Jimmy Kimmel Live announced today a special all-Avengers episode of his popular late night show, airing next Monday, April 13.

Kimmel, a well-known and vocal fan of the MCU, welcomes all members of the cast—Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner—to his show in what promises to be a fun-filled and hilarious special celebrating the movie and its impending release on May 1.

The show will feature interviews about the movie as well as never before seen clips that are sure to tickle the fancy of even the most ardent Marvel fans. Additionally, Kimmel will pit the cast against each other in a round of “Avengers Family Feud.” Fans are invited to join in on the fun by participating in his popular Wall of America where fans of Marvel and Kimmel can interact with the cast via social media.

Joining the Avengers on the show is musical guest, The War on Drugs. Kimmel is, of course, well-known for his ability to attract viral attention with his bits and his stunts, and there can be no doubt that fans will be in for a treat as Marvel takes over late night.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35pm on ABC. It’s perhaps worth noting that both ABC and Marvel share the same parent company, Disney, which would explain why Kimmel gets to have all sorts of Avengers fun.
