It’s time to test your Ticketmaster skills: The Beastie Boys are going small and getting intimate this summer.
The B-Boys have dropped a number of tour dates for the coming season as they head out to support The Mix-Up. We would be shocked if any of these shows don’t sell out tout de suite. Word has it these shows will be regular ol’ Beasties gigs with just a focus on the instrumentals, but look for more “super intimate” all-instrumental dates to be announced soon…
8/1 Philadelphia – Festival Pier
8/6 Boston – Bank of America Pavilion
8/8 New York – Summerstage
8/9 Brooklyn – McCarren Pool
8/16 Denver – Red Rocks
8/23 Santa Barbara – County Bowl
8/25 Berkeley – Greek Theater
Let’s all guess what the surefire hit of the McCarren Pool show will be. Pre-sales for the above dates begin Thursday June 14th, with on-sales following Friday June 15th and Saturday June 16th. For more details and a further explanation of a “regular show” vs. a “gala event,” visit beastieboys.com.

SummerStage here I come…well, McCarren Pool is probably gonna be the stop of the tour, but I’m guessing that’ll be sold out in about 45 seconds.
Hittin up that Philly show yo
Yeah yeah
Having now secured tickets. I am super stoked for these shows. Also there is a rumor of a Gala show at Studio B in Brooklyn!
Just saw that rumor…guess that would be an all-instrumental show as well. Either way, I’m stoked for SummerStage.
No…sleep…til Manhattan.
