The Disco Biscuits have announced the addition of eight performances to their Summer 2009 tour dates. “The Road to Camp Bisco Tour” will feature a string of late June performances leading into the band’s confirmed summer festival appearances. Tickets for the new shows will go on sale through BiscoTix (http://biscotix.musictoday.com) on Friday, May 15th at Noon Eastern.
The Disco Biscuits will kick off The Road to Camp Bisco Tour with three beachside shows – performing in Dewey Beach, DE at the Bottle & Cork on Wednesday, June 24 before heading up to Atlantic City, NJ for back-to-back shows at the House of Blues supported by Lotus, Thursday-Friday June 25 & 26.
From there, the band makes a long-awaited return to State College, PA for a Saturday night blowout at The State Theatre on June 27. Sunday, June 28 will see the band sticking around Pennsylvania as they head to Acme, PA where they will be supported by Future Rock and other very special guests.
The Disco Biscuits will return to Columbus, Ohio’s Newport Music Hall on June 30, supported by EOTO & Future Rock, before a July 1 performance at Indianapolis’ Egyptian Room at the Murat Center once again featuring Future Rock and other very special guests TBA.
The Road to Camp Bisco Tour will give fans the opportunity to see The Disco Biscuits en route the band’s confirmed summer festival performances at Rothbury, High Sierra, Camp Bisco VIII, and Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival. More tour details will be available in the coming days, including information on additional supporting acts and Atlantic City travel packages.
The Disco Biscuits are also able to confirm their return to Buffalo’s Thursday at the Square concert series. After last year’s massive success, the band will return to Lafayette Square for a free performance scheduled for Thursday, June 4th.
In addition to the newly confirmed dates, fans will also be able to check out the band at their annual 3-day music and arts festival, Camp Bisco, July 16-18, 2009. The eighth installment of one of the country’s longest running electronic/rock music festivals will be held at Indian Lookout Country Club, 20 minutes outside of Albany, for the third consecutive year and will feature three full nights of The Disco Biscuits along with some of the most exciting acts in the world.
