Phish Launches New Single on iTunes

Phish has just released the leadoff single from a recently completed new studio album, which will hit stores this summer.

Titled "Times Turns Elastic," and clocking in at 13-and-a-half minutes, the new cut is available starting today (5/26) exclusively via Apple’s iTunes Store, and video footage of the band recording the track is posted at Phish’s website.

"I began writing this little tune for Phish–and it just kept growing and growing," Phish frontman Trey Anastasio said in a press release. Last week, Anastasio performed a version of the cut with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

"Times Turns Elastic" paves the way for the July 28 release of an as-yet-untitled album that Phish began recording with producer Steve Lillywhite less than three months ago.
