Pullin’ Tubes: Greyboy’s Still Waiting

On again, off again, on again funk-groovesters the Greyboy Allstars have been in the midst of a career renaissance – touring relentlessly and even releasing their first new studio album in over a decade last year’s What Happened To Television?

Despite asking that question the band’s debut music video takes a direct cue from the 1970s television series Good Times, by recreating the Ernie Barnes Sugar Shack painting that was featured in the credits – but with some lovable puppets…

Looks like Karl D’s puppet hasn’t been hitting the gym as much as his real life counterpart. GBA has also recently announced a slew of new tour dates that will keep them on the road over the next few months.
