LeRoi With the PH: 6/17/95 & 7/21/97

We’re still in shock over the news of DMB sax player LeRoi Moore’s passing. As we’re geigh for Trey in these parts, we’ll honor ‘Roi by posting MP3s of two of his kickass sit-ins with longtime friends – the Phish from Vermont.

LeRoi and Dave Matthews joined the Phab Phour for their only performance of Three Little Birds at the Nissan Pavilion in Gainesville, VA on June 17, 1995 and Moore busted out multiple saxes for a rollicking Theme From The Bottom at Phish’s US Summer Tour opener in Virgina Beach on July 21, 1997. He also added some scintillating sax to Funky Bitch during the same show. R.I.P. LeRoi.
