Phil/Gorilla is my all time fav though…
Funny, I was just saying last night how much I despised Cat Power’s remake of Space Oddity. And its inclusion in that commercial is kinda strange — as my associate and I said at the time, that doesn’t make me want to buy a car. It makes me not want to go to space!
On the broader topic, I am totally okay with artists selling their shit to commercials. With the radio playing an increased amount of crap, and with CD sales dwindling due to legalized theft, these people should try and make as much money as possible from the arenas they can. All the more power to ’em.
