  1. That is really sad news even though i’ll continue to follow what JFJO and Mathis bring as i’m sure it’ll be great none the less (for example, Benevento’s new ME, NOT ME out in february)

  2. This makes me a little upset. The orginal JFJO was an 8 piece. Now the only founding member left is Haas, so should it even be JFJO anymore?

  3. I can’t believe after all these years that Mathis is leaving JFJO for Tea Leaf Green. That’s a damn shame. I’m sure Haas will keep JFJO humming with a great new line up, but just a little bummed about Reed’s decision. I will definitely hit their set this weekend at Winter Jazzfest.
