As usual, Jann Wenner has fucked up again by naming a bunch of undeserving acts to the Rock and Roll Ha… Scratch that. Old habit. Actually, this year’s inductees are fairly awesome. Metallica, Run DMC, Jeff Beck, singer/songwriter Bobby Womack, doo-wop heavyweights Little Anthony & the Imperials and pioneering country artist Wanda Jackson are among this year’s inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

The Rock and Roll Hall is also giving three select sidemen their due. Elvis Presley’s bassist Bill Black and his drummer D.J. Fontana, as well as Drive-By Trucker friend “Spooner” Oldham will be inducted at the ceremony on April 4 in Cleveland. It’s time to bust those Adidas out as Run DMC plans to perform for the first time since Jam Master Jay was murdered seven years ago.
