Bassist Les Claypool hits the road on Wednesday in support of his latest album, Of Fungi and Foe, for a month-long tour that takes him across the country. Billed as the Oddity Faire, Claypool is heading on the road with a band featuring Mike Dillon [Percussion], Paulo Baldi [Drums] and Sam Bass [Cello] with additional support from Claypool friends’ Yard Dogs Road Show, Muytaytor, Saul Williams, Secret Chief 3, Devotchka as well as O’Death.
The Oddity Faire kicks off in San Diego on Wednesday before moving on to Las Vegas on Friday and the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Finally, the promoters of the 2009 Summer Camp Music Festival have announced that Willie Nelson has been added to the bill. Bassnectar, That 1 Guy, EOTO, Secret Chiefs 3, Future Rock and Chicago Farmer will also perform at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL on May 22-24.
