There are a lot of Grateful Dead cover bands out there, but only one of them has my friend Toby White holding it down on drums. While they have been playing a lot at Tammany Hall in Worcester (Every Wednesday starting April 8th), they are getting a little closer to Boston this Saturday when they play The Skellig in Waltham.

Jackie is my only artist this week that has previously appeared on this weekly feature. I think he’s deserving of the repeat as I think he’s one of the more underrated singer/songwriters out there today. This is a track off his 2008 album Giving Up The Ghost, if you haven’t heard it – you’re missing out. Off the road for a couple of weeks, Jackie next plays June 24th in Denver.
