After 50 years of drumming Phil Collins is putting down his sticks. The Genesis drummer has a spinal injury that has made sitting at a kit too painful to endure.  Collins will still be able to sing and perform in the future.

Finally, Gothamist got a sneak peak inside the new Knitting Factory location in Williamsburg and the place looks great. The venue opened its doors to the public on Wednesday night when Les Savy Fav performed.

    scotty, thanks for the linkage. I am pretty proud of that new podcast.

    cool to hear about the new Knit. Looks great, and it’s nice to have yet another solid venue in Bklyn. I will definitely have to check that out.
