  1. love the number’s stuff..

    great work, gentlemen…

    and we all know, it’s the band, the band… or maybe we all don’t know, but i think it is… and they should listen to me…always.
    🙂

  2. Who and when did someone from “Are You Experienced?” and “Electric Ladyland” sit in with Phish and where was I?

  3. It seems like something obvious is missing… last week in an interview Trey said that “Off the Wall” was a possibility, but it is not on the wall! My guess is that this list is really 100 albums and at the end Thriller is going to fall off and become Off The Wall!

    Just a guess, but seems like something they would do!

  4. mark my words, it will be:

    KISS – Alive II

    from the hints they gave, it will be..

    now, who will be “the demon”? i vote page for “the starchild”.

    can u imagine, the boys in full KISS getup, fire, lights, blood , oh my!!

    peep the trackisting for “Alive II” its too perfect.
    i call opening of purple rain, then explosions, and “Detroit Rock City” Phish style…………..now, wheres my balloon…

  5. its # 1 on the number line list, totally halloween appropiate, total kick ass rock yer f’kin cock silly part music, peep the track listing. page singin Beth, Dr. love by Mike, its too perfect.
    also, its the only live album, &/or compilation on the list.
    the teaser said, “SAVE THE DATE”, its in Indio, near the date fields, “The last record left ALIVE” , Alive II, dood, were gunna experiance somthing spectacular, Phish is gunna do Cali BIIIIGGG

  6. Pink floyd – the wall.. eh, i don’t see it. and meddle got the axe today..

    The Band. – My top choice. to be of serious consideration… But they should play the Last Waltz soundtrack…

    Stones. – They love the stones

    Zepp – “I’m gonna go up stairs and rub my nut-sac all over your drum set! John Bonham’s gonna play Moby Dick for Real!”

    King Crimson – Larc’s Tounges.. = not entertaining enough, (in my opinion) compared to all the other choices. Although an incredible album

    Rush – I think they should throw a RUSH conver in somewhere if they don’t play this album..

    Blind Faith – This would sound amazing.

    Yes – = No.

    Grateful Dead = American Beauty. they played enough dead to satisfy the phans over the years with phil and friends and various sit-ins and what not.. No dice.

    Genesis = The phish lies down on Indio.. Too long, and not fun to listen to. Great music. Epic. AMAZING but not festival material.

    Radiohead = Shmadiohead..

    Beasties = Too Entertaining..

    Jimi = Possible. depends on how the first set goes. and I think they’ll spend the three hours before going on stage debating between two albums. one of them will be hendrix.

    I think for three hours between sets, they’ll play some of the artists in the remaining 8…

    KISS – only if they borrowed some serious outfits from Gene, and threw huge money KISS’ way.. And I’m almost certain they would all represent they’re respective counter-parts. ie. trey=ace Mike=gene page=paul fish=cat?

    Oh well!! I won’t be able to go! but this is a blast!! Rock on ya Wide-spread String-cheese eatin’ TOOLS!! Gimmie some Moe. PHiSH!!!

  7. You guys need to updated. Curtis Mayfield, Metallica, The Police, Rage Against the Machine, and Frank Zappa – Hot Rats have all been eliminated.
