Ever since recovering from a bout of Hepatitis C in 2008, Gregg Allman has shown no signs of slowing down since returning to the road. After the star-studded Allman Brothers Band 40th anniversary run at the Beacon and a co-headlining tour with Widespread Panic, Gregg will head out with his Friends band this November for a handful of dates which will include a special benefit for the Michael J. Fox Foundation in the Big Apple on Nov. 21.
If you’re not into a night with the Southern-rock legend, than maybe you’ll be interested in hitting one of these recently announced tours…
- Original shock-rocker Alice Cooper stays busy into mid-December
- Jon Spencer’s new project Heavy Trash plans a November run
- Eagles drummer Don Henley lines up a short eight-date solo trek

Finally, for those parents out there in our reading audience who are tried of schlepping their kids to see The Wiggles or Dan Zanes – the hipster-band-friendly kids show Yo Gabba Gabba! will head out for a string of live performances this fall in select cities. Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! There’s A Party In My City, which will feature music, animation, games, singing, dancing, and special musical guests at each show, will come to New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles for two single-day performances in each city.
