In what seems like a plot line ripped straight out of Entourage, what if I told you that FOX Searchlight wants to make a biopic based on the seminal punk band The Ramones? Would that be something you’d be interested in?
Well, the specialty division of 20th Century Fox is looking into optioning a movie based on the upcoming memoir I Slept with Joey Ramone: A Family Memoir – which was written by Joey’s brother Mickey Leigh and noted punk-scribe Legs McNeil. The book hits stores this December.

Finally, the fine folks at Magic Hat Brewery want to sponsor your band, as the Vermont-based brewery is currently accepting original song submissions via their website. Once the ten finalists are selected, they will battle it out for $1000, along with tour posters and online promotion provided by Magic Hat.
