The South Fork Music Association (SFMA) will present the 4th
annual Rhythms On The Rio Festival, on August 22nd and 23rd, 2009. This is a FREE two day
music festival, bringing world class talent to Southern Colorado. The festival will take place on
the grassy banks of the Rio Grande River in beautiful South Fork, Colorado.

Featured acts include The Nershi – Law Trio & Friends, Darol Anger, Drew Emmitt, Great American Taxi
(featuring Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon), The Susan Gibson Band, The Pete Kartsounes Band,
Palmas and many other nationally known “surprise” guests.
The Festival will also be a benefit concert, with monies raised through a voluntary
donation drive and beer garden sales going to the The Rio Grande Headwaters Land Trust
(RIGHT), the High Valley Community Center for children in Del Norte, Hike For Cancer, and
The South Fork Music Association (for a music education program for San Luis Valley
Children).
